Preparing this album was a journey into the past, full of reminiscence as we reworked pieces we have played many times over the years, getting into the details. At the same time, we could just begin to get a glimpse of the limitless possibilities of his music. The album is available here on New World Records.

It's a true pleasure to work with Rémy Bélanger de Beauport on his new piece, LÆMA, which we commissioned from him. Come hear us play it live in Montreal, Quebec City or Rimouski during the Québec Musiques Parallèles events! A personal work, without pretence or fanfare, both vulnerable and
true.

"Rémy Bélanger de Beauport invites the audience and the performers to return to the body, to let the eyes and ears as well as the breath to pass from one instrument to another, from a musical gesture to the dance that creates it and vice versa. He works with the raw materials of rigour, trauma and intuition and transforms them, in close collaboration with the Quatuor Bozzini, into a virtuosic presence."
We have dedicated the last few months to the elaboration of the work together with Rémy, researching sounds and experimenting with textures. Grand premiere in Rimouski on October 10th!
